Seda Demiralp is Assistant Professor of Politics and International Relations at Işık University.  She specializes on Middle East politics with a particular interest in the political economy of Islamism, state-business relations, political moderation, and the politics of Islamic finance.  Dr. Demiralp’s current research investigates Islamic banks and their customers in Turkey.
